Developers’ sales for the week of 1 May – 7 May 2023 were 282 units
The CCR accounted for 13.1% while the RCR and OCR made up 82.6% and 4.3%
The top-selling project in the CCR was The Atelier, followed by The Continuum in the RCR, and Baywind Residences in the OCR
Considering the recent cooling measures and cloudy economic outlook, The Continuum had a strong showing, selling more than 25% of its units on launch day
This is the first freehold project launch with a large land size above 200,000 sq ft in the Katong area in almost 20 years
The Continuum is going to be a landmark project in Katong with an iconic bridge connecting two sites together
The quality fittings, freehold tenure, proximity to good schools and the Paya Lebar sub-regional centre are other reasons drawing buyers to the project
Huttons estimate that the buyers were predominantly locals and first timers
Quite a number of units sold were the larger units, an indication that these are bought by families for their own stay
