We will have to see in Oct how the new cooling measures will affect the buying demand of the market.
The latest round of cooling measures is targeted more towards the higher price premium hdb flats to prevent them from going up further.
Imagine a 4rm prime hdb costs close to $1m, what’s going to happen in 10-20 years time?
The Gov has to step in to control this particular segment of HDBs to prevent a situation where only the affluent is able to afford to stay in prime resale HDBs.
